 Friday March 5th 2021, Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter-Eight  Presented 9 Army Jr. ROTC Students with the RT FL8 community service award at DELTONA HIGH SCHOOL. Photo RT members: Jose, Frankie, Roger, Ltc. Moor Loban and Jerry. The school was also Presented the Matthew L. Eskridge Memorial award for scholastic achievements as well as their overall community service hours.

(Aug 28 2017) Five generous ladies (L-R) Katerna Etzel, Allison Nelson, Karen Dickson, Veronica Brown and camera shy Kelly Garvin,  presented Rolling Thunder Fl. Chapter 8 with a donation of $1,138.75. The ladies entered a charity bowling league, the team "ALLEY - OOOP'S. They actually came in 1st place. Thank you for selecting RT FL-8 as your charity.

The Chrome Divas Daytona Chapter, present Rolling Thunder Fl. Chapter 8, a donation check of $1,000.00 as part of monies raise from their Bike Raffle during Bike Week 2017.

Daytona's own "American Idol" star Michelle Marie entertains the veterans at the E.L. Bennet Nursing Home. Michelle gives of her time to provide entertainment for veterans during many events throught Volusia County and has become a reguler supporter of Rolling Thunder Fl8. On Feb 11th she sang/guitar at the VFW Post 3262 during the RT FL8 Poker Run fundraiser.

Approximately 200 supporters came out to the “Wreaths Across America” event at the Volusia Memorial Gardens. Hosted by Rolling Thunder Fl. chapter 8 and the Veterans Assistance Collation. Over 300 wreaths were placed on the resting place of our fallen veterans from all wars. This event takes place each year across the United States, all of which beging at the same time, 12 noon.

New Missing Man Hornor Table

RT Fl 8 placed a Missing Man Honor Table in the Veterans Museum and Education Center in Daytona. The museum located at 166 Beach Street Daytona, is open Tuesday & Thursday from 1 to 5 and Saturday Noon to 4. Stop in and support this new facility in honor of all who served.

A Heroes Welcome: Jainie Rocke's Grandson U.S.M.C. Lance Corporal Daniel Sean Rocke arrived at Daytona Airport at 10pm on October 30th after serving  a tour in Iraq and Kuwait.
