Sat May 18th -  Pancake Breakfast: Hosted by the Veterans Council of Volusia County. 9AM to 12:30PM, at the DAV Chapter 84 Building at 605 Eighth Street in Holly Hill. The Cost is $8 per person. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, and juice will be provided.

Fri May 24 - Sun 26th - RT 32nd. Ride For Freedom: This will be the final year that Rolling Thunder® Inc. will be officially participating in the Annual Demonstration RIde For The Wall, hosted by Rolling Thunder DC. Inc. We have been informed that the Annual Demonstration Ride for the Wall, will continue on as an annual event. Members of Rolling Thunder Inc. are encouraged to continue to support the annual event in support of the POW-MIA accountability issue. Event Schedule Below.

Friday May 24th
5 PM - Washington National Cathedral - 'Blessing of the Bikes'
9 PM - Candle Light Vigil at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Sat May 25th
9 AM- 9 PM Thunder Alley The official vendor site for Rolling
Thunder XXXII is on 22nd Street and Constitution Avenue Northwest. Official Rolling Thunder patches, pins and T-shirts are on sale in Thunder Alley, along with food and biker related goods.

Sun May 26th
6 AM - Reveille - Vietnam Veterans Memorial - Wake-up call for all
riders taking part in the Rolling Thunder XXXII First Amendment
Demonstration Run. Bikers rally in the North and South Pentagon
parking lots at 7 AM for a noon departure.

9 AM - Thunder Alley Opens: 22nd and Constitution Ave NW.
12 PM - Rolling Thunder XXXII First Amendment Demonstration
Run. Bikes leave the North Pentagon parking lot to begin their run through the Mall area. After the run, police will direct riders to West Potomac Park, where they will pay tribute to our fallen.
. 1:30 PM - Rolling Thunder Speakers Program (Lincoln Memorial)
. 3 PM - Musical tribute to Veterans - TBA
. 8 PM - Memorial Day Concert - at the Capitol.

Monday, May 27th - Memorial Day
. 9 AM - 5 PM - Thunder Alley is Open at 22nd and Constitution Ave
. 9 AM - WWII Memorial Wreath Laying Ceremony
. 11 AM - Wreath Laying Ceremony - Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,
Arlington National Cemetery.
. 1 PM - Vietnam Veterans Wreath laying ceremony
. 2 PM - Annual Memorial Day Observance at Vietnam Veterans
Memorial - Honoring the fallen service men and women of the
Vietnam War.
. 2 PM - National Memorial Day Parade - Marching bands and
veterans' units from all 50 states. Begins at the corner of Constitution
Avenue and Seventh Street Northwest.
3 PM - National Moment of Remembrance

Sun May 26th - Free Patriotic Concert: Beginning at 2 to 4PM, at  the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center; 399 No. US 1. The Concert will be conducted by Mr. Charles Long. The Concert is sponsored by the Memorial Day Remembrance Committee, Lohman Community Outreach, and American Legion Post 267. The program will recognize past and present members of the armed forces and will include songs for each branch. Nineteen recipients, selected by local veteran service organizations, will receive the Patriot Of The Year Award.

Mon May 27th - Memorial Day Schedule:

Our presence & participation has been requested at both the Ponce Inlet and Port Orange - Memorial Day Ceremomnies. For double the expoaure we will be represented at both locations. The choice is your preference. Please choose which is most conveiniant.

Ponce Inlet Veterans Memorial: The Ponce Inlet Veterans Memorial Association is hosting the 12019 ceremony. Scheduled to begin at 10AM. We will be speaking on the POW-MIA issue and participating in the Memorial wreath laying ceremony. Meet up info to come.

Port Orange Veterans Memorial: Scheduled to begin at 10Am in the City Center complex. The VFW and the City of Port Orange will be hosting 2019 Memorial Day Ceremony. We will be presenting the POW-MIA Missing ManTable ceremony. Meet up at VFW 3282 at 9:15am depart at 9:30.

Tues May 28th - Award Ceremony: RT FL8 will be presenting the SFC Matthew L. Eskridge Memorial Award. The Spruce Creek High School Senior Awards Night will be held at 7:00pm, at the Bethune Cookman Performing Arts Center. (698 West International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32114)






Date to be announced. The 2019 Ormond Strong Veterans and First responders Recognition day at the Volusia Mall.



Fri.  Sept. 20th - National POW/MIA Recognition Day: POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed to honor those who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. This day was established by an Act of Congress, by the passage of Section 1082 of the 1998 Defense Authorization Act.

Thurs Nov. 28th-Dec. 1st - The Fall Turkey Rod Run: at Daytona internationsl Speedway Infield . RT FL-8  will have it's Merchandise and Promotion Booth. Members are encouraged to sign up for you shift. Contact Dick Allison.
